We’ve all googled people we know and people we’ve just met. Most of us have even googled ourselves (called egosurfing).
And if you’re reading this page, it’s probably because you were googling the name of someone listed on this page. In fact, that’s the sole purpose of this page. I’m hoping you found this page either by ego-surfing your name or by searching for my name specifically (Robbie Cooper) .
If your name is listed, it’s because somewhere in our lives our paths have crossed and then we lost touch. Regrettably so. Or at least enough so that I occasionally wonder what happened to you, how your life turned out, etc. I created this page in the off chance that you find it. If you do, email me at robbie_AT_urbangrounds_DOT_COM, because I’d like to hear from you again.
- Terri Hunter — of Antigo, WI. We met at Houligan’s in Eau Claire, WI, where we were both bartenders.
- Jackie Pavic — along with Terri and Sherri Hunter, one of my roommates in Antigo, WI.
- Jerry Annis — roommates during our summer internship in Michigan. You talked me into moving to Wisconsin, where I lived with you, your brother Mike, and Tom Bement.
- Jennifer Jordan — my favorite bartender from Antigo, WI. Last I heard you were at school in Madison.
- Ann Smith — from Eau Claire WI. Ok, so there’s a pretty good chance that googling “Ann Smith” will never lead you here. But maybe I’ll get lucky with the Eau Claire reference. You were one of my best friends when I bartended at Houligan’s. We were going to move to Colorado together. But you left without me.
- Kelley Grush — we bartended together at Bennigan’s in Houston in the late 90s.
- Monica Sclafani — we worked together at Steak and Ale in Conroe sometime around 1990.
- Brenda Tidwell — also worked together at Steak and Ale in Conroe.
- Ourania “Nia” Garnakelis — my best friend from our days at Ft. Riley (701st Main Support Battalion, F. Co.). I was your “bridesmaid” when you married Jay Boatwright. Last I heard you were teaching English in France.
- Heather Pool — Army buddy and former roommate. I owe you an apology.
- Julie Anne Lamb — Julie Lamb, the last I heard you were moving back to CA from Texas (or possibly Germany) to return to active duty in the Army. UPDATE on 10/17/07 — My little brother, a SFC in the US Army and stationed at Ft. Jackson, SC called me this morning and told me that he ran into you on base, and that you recognized him. He said that you are now Cpt. Julie Hewett, US Army! So, I guess you did go back in — good for you; I’m envious. I’ve tried to get back in, but my medical discharge and my re-enlistment code prohibits it.
- Laura Lambright — my best friend from our days back at Baylor (1986-88). Last I heard you were married and living in Colorado. You’re name is the impetus for starting this list, since my referrer log showed that someone did find my web site by googling for your name.
- Lynn Carr — a very good friend, also from Baylor.
- Scott Lundy — pledge brother from Baylor. From Desoto, TX, I think.
- Carlos Ortiz — my fraternity (ATO) big brother while at Baylor.
- John Freeman — my pledge brother, roommate, and close friend from Baylor.
- Stephanie Donnely — you were my girlfriend in the 5-6th grades at Glen Cove Elementary school in El Paso.
- Kyle Flowers — my best friend when we were kids in El Paso, TX.

I happened upon this page when I googled Nia’s name. I didn’t know she married Boatwright! I met her in Korea where she met Jay. That is so funny!
