Instead of buying a Count Me Red bracelet to counter the moonbats selling the Count Me Blue bracelets, buy a bracelet that stands for something truly meaningful, and—more importantly—supports a truly worthy cause.
An Austin-based ad agency is selling Hero braceltes engraved with the names of fallen US Soldiers. Proceeds of the sales go to the Fallen Heros Fund:
The Fund provides unrestricted grants to the families of military personnel who have given their lives in the current operations in defense of our country. The gifts, $10,000 to each dependent family and an additional $5,000 per child, are intended to help these families through any immediate or long-term financial difficulties they may face. This gift is made quietly and without fanfare, to protect the privacy of the families. Our goal is to support them in their time of need, and to ensure that they know that our nation appreciates the sacrifice they have made for us.

Hear, hear!
While I got riled up about the red and blue bracelets…I couldn’t agree more with putting the politics aside and doing something positive for our fallen military members.
I highly encourage you to purchase one of these bracelets for yourself…and maybe some more for your friends and family. Can you honestly argue with the good that the money will do…based on the sacrifice of the man or woman that has his/her name engraved on the bracelet?
See you on the high ground…you’d better have your bracelet. That’s an order!
