Vince Young is Superman
CNNSI called it a “modernized Rose Bowl classic”.
I’d say it was nothing short of the greatest college football game I’ve ever watched. And yes, a big part of that has to do with my team winning the biggest game it’s played since last winning the National Championship in 1970.
Dusty Mangum kicked a 37-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Longhorns to a 38-37 victory over the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.
Vince Young accounted for 372 total yards and five touchdowns in UT’s first BCS victory. He may not be the best QB in the country, but he’s easily the most talented and gifted athlete I’ve ever watched play any sport.

Hi, Robbie!
It’s been a while, huh? I haven’t checked out your site in a while, and it rocks! Very professional looking.
That sure was an awesome game! I’m still smiling from it.
Hey, does your wife still work at KW? I have my resume in there with a staffing company. I know you had said she really loved it there.
Take care!
Your pal,
Lisa (from EDS)
Hey, Lisa. Long time since I’ve heard from you…or Peggy, or anybody else from that group…except for Fred, who sends me a random e-mail about twice a month.
No, Shannon no longer works at KW. One of her co-workers drove a knife through her back and got her fired for something rather insignificant…about 3 months ago I guess.
I still know a bunch of the curriculum developers who work there though, and they’re a great group.
Hope you’re doing well, and good luck with the job search.
Ha! Yes, Fred sends me an e-mail every so often, too. Peggy is working at ACS; she left EDS before all the layoffs started. She’s doing very well.
Sorry to hear what happened with Shannon. That is so wrong.
I’m doing a kind of independent marketing consultant thing now. I have a mentor who will show me the ropes and then let me do my own thing. I think I’ve despised corporate life for a while now, so it will be nice to work from home and be control of how much money I make.
Your pal,
Lisa
