Because he was a few hours short of this 18th birthday, he escaped the death penalty. I sure hope he is never paroled. Two lives and he should ever walk free? Spit!

Petitioner, Whitney Lee Reeves, and Troy Don Glover became acquainted when they
worked in the same restaurant on Pleasure Island. RR. 17, P. 31-32 (See Exhibit # 8). A former
girlfriend of Petitioner, Amanda Sherrer, testified that prior to the murders Petitioner told her that
he and troy were planning on killing a girl and her father. RR. 17, P. 43-44 (See Exhibit # 9).
Witness Cari Geoffroy testified that she was seeing Petitioner at the time of the murders and that
Petitioner had come to her and told her that he had done something bad; that he and Troy had
killed two people. RR. 17 P. 176,178. (See Exhibit # 10)

State witness, Joshua Kame, a friend of Petitioner, testified that on August 20, 1999,
Petitioner told him that he had done something bad and that he wanted Kame to accompany him.
Witness Kame testified that he and Petitioner got a gas can and a black bag and they went out to
Pleasure Island in the late night, early morning hours of August 20th
and 21st 1999, and Petitioner said that he was burning evidence; some clothes. RR. 17, P 214, 218 (See Exhibit # 11). A witness from the military testified that Petitioner confessed to being involved in the offense. RR. 19, P. 29-30. (See Exhibit # 12)

Petitioner called Troy Don Glover, who basically disputed all of the evidence of the
State, whether in inculpated him or Petitioner. RR. 19, P. 45-48, 53, 68 (See Exhibit # 13).
Additionally, Petitioner testified upon his own behalf, explaining that he accompanied Troy
Glover, but that he did not commit the offense. RR. 19, P. 134-142 (See Exhibit # 14). Following
all of the testimony and arguments of counsel, the jury found petitioner guilty of capital murder
as alleged in the indictment. RR. 19, P. 229. (See Exhibit # 15)
