…and More Stifling of Free Speech
At UC Santa Cruz, left-wing idiot students were practicing their rights to protest by stomping on the free speech of the soldiers they pretend to support (but whom—in reality—they detest with all the gusto that their liberal professors have hammered into them).
SANTA CRUZ — UC Santa Cruz junior Jonathan Perez dressed in a suit and tie Tuesday, hoping to impress company recruiters at the campus job fair.
But more than 200 student anti-war protesters got there first, storming the Stevenson Event Center, shouting and banging on windows and demanding that military recruiters in the corner of the room leave.
The noisy sit-in ended after an hour of chaos and tension when military representatives vacated their posts. Student protesters hugged each other happily after administrators allowed them to hand out information on alternatives to military careers and agreed to a meeting to discuss future job fairs.
I hope the other companies (such as Broadcom, Infineon, and American Express) who were there recruiting took note of which students were involved. And as each of those student-terrorists handed those recruiters their resume, I hope the recruiter tore it up in their face. Which is what I would have done.
I’ll bet if you listened carefully during the free-speech shout-down, you would’ve heard each and every one of those 200+ student-terrorists say, “I support our soldiers, but…”
Which is total bullshit. I know it. You know it. And they know it.
They do not support our military:
UCSC administrators stepped up security at the job fair, hoping to avert a confrontation. Students had to present identification at the door and reporters asking to enter were screened.
That didn’t stop the student protesters. About 75 of them pushed their way in, carrying signs and a banner that said “Military Off Our Campus.” They chanted, “Racist, Sexist, Anti-Gay. Hey, recruiters, go away.”
The left hates our military. They do not support it. You can try to spin it however you want, moonbats. But your actions are louder and clearer than your rhetoric. I don’t believe you now, and I didn’t believe you back when I was a soldier. And today’s soldiers don’t believe you either.
Now, shut your pie-holes and run off and buy Hanoi Jane’s new book.

UPDATE II: The Godfather of Blogging weighs in:
And this — frankly unpatriotic — face isn’t helping it. And, yes, it is unpatriotic to obstruct military recruiting in time of war.
I couldn’t agree more, Instapundit — it is unpatriotic.
Go read the entire post—especially this gem from one of Glenn’s readers about the nature of recruiting at UCSC:
Fewer and fewer students attending places like UCSC are of the sort who can handle the military.

Hanoi Jane is on the talk-show circuit these days still lying about her complicity with the Cong. The shame of it all. Course she’s also pitching a new movie as well as her book…and doesn’t miss a chance at age 67 to discuss how her book talks about her little “three-somes” in an effort to drum up some interest I guess…gaggggggg.
