Even the thinking and rational Left knows that Margaret Cho is an idiot.
One of the reasons that the Airing of Grievances is my favorite blogger on the Left is that he hasn’t abandoned logic and reason, and he’s quick to call bullshit when it raises it’s ugly head—even if it’s on his own side of the ideological aisle:
Unfortunately, in recent years, she’s become some sort of shrill, preachy comedic spokeswoman for the Daily Kos/MoveOn set, touring the country throwing out easy one-liners ripped off from the better left-wing bloggers. The sad fact is, I share most of her political views, am upset by the same things that rile her up, yet almost had to leave the theater in exasperated disgust.
Cho is everything that is wrong with the screechy American left. Loud, angry, unoriginal and embarrassing to thoughtful people who unfortunately have to share space with her on the ideological plane.
If the AofG can figure out what’s wrong with the American Left, why can’t Howard Dean?
