Q — Why does the military stuff coming out of Hollywood suck?
A — “PERHAPS IF HOLLYWOOD HAD MORE PEOPLE who had been in the military, it would be able to make military stuff that doesn’t suck.” (thanks to Professor Reynolds for supplying the answer)

My response to Glenn’s answer?
No shit and fat chance (on Hollywood’s Limousine Liberals joining the military—at least not our military—OR on them making military stuff that doesn’t suck).

I predict a post-public service career for JF Kerry: Hollywood military consultant.
Oh, god, Jeff…don’t put any ideas in his head…because it’s so easy to see him doing that. It would be almost as sick as Oliver Stone reinterpreting the attacks of 9/11.
I don’t think I could put an idea in his head if I had a power drill with a diamond bit.
Not that I’d mind trying, though…
There was an interesting cover story in a recent issue of The American Conservative (which is, in my opinion, our country’s #1 conservative magazine), regarding the issue of Hollywood and their attitude.
I just checked, and I see that that piece is not available on the magazine’s website. However, conservative commentator and movie critic Steve Sailer is the author. http://www.isteve.com
His writings are quite good.
I think with the new age waivers that Michael Moore may be able to enlist. He’s an avid critic of policy and was trying to get Congressmen to sign their kids up. I’d like to see him put his life where his mouth is and join up. It’s easier to affect change from within, Mike baby.
C’mon you fat piece of crap, join me!
Hollywood war stories don’t suck when they:
A) get the DoD involved (a la Black Hawk Down), because the DoD isn’t going to let itself look stupid
B) hire a good military consultant, like Dale Dye. HE isn’t going to let us look stupid either
