Interesting visitor to UrbanGrounds on Friday:
Someone from the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ.gov) spent 41 minutes browsing through the pages of UrbanGrounds. How’d they get here? Googling for information about Joseph Edward Duncan III.
It’s an encouraging sign, actually. If the USDOJ is going to use Duncan’s blog in their investigation, one of their best resources is going to be the throngs of experienced bloggers who have already spent considerable time deconstructing and analyzing Duncan’s blogs and other online personas.

Yes, this type of thing has happened to me before – visitors from the Department of Defense. (And it was quite longer than that… The person basically went through my entire weblog – which, if you take a look, is quite large… even back then!) I was concerned at first, but when one of those visitors e-mailed me, and after hearing from other people on that issue, my mind was put at ease.
And it was quite flattering.
I’m considering starting a coal Campaign!
Send Michael Crook a lump of coal – no letter, no explanation.
He deserves it.
