Family outraged…at the Police
You just can’t make this stuff up:
The family of a man arrested during his brother’s funeral procession and later charged with murder demanded an apology Tuesday from the Houston Police Department for disrupting the service and compounding their grief.
Chris Jackson was arrested and charged later that day in his brother’s slaying.
“I’m very angry and offended,” said Patricia Jackson, as her husband and others stood beside her. “We need justice.”
So, let me get this straight: the Jackson family isn’t outraged that one of their sons shot-to-death their other son. But they are outraged by the “injustice” of the police doing their job and apprehending and arresting the shooter?
If the Jacksons really think that stopping the funeral procession and arresting their son-the-murderer was disrespectful of the dead, I counter that bringing along and protecting the person who caused the death is even more disrespectful.

NOTE to my family — in the tragic event that I am ever murdered, DO NOT invite my killer to the funeral, even if that person is family.
