I haven’t posted much in the last week, and hardly anything at all about Hurricane Katrina.

I have a lot to say about the disaster, looting, the race card, the blame game, and celebrity moonbats. Regular blogging will resume tomorrow, and I’ll get to it all.

However, tonight, with news-story-after-news-story coming out of Texas—I have never been prouder to be a Texan. My hometown of Houston has shown itself to be a city of generous heart and spirit. And Austin—where I’ve called home for the last 6 years—has stepped up too. The outpouring of generosity from my fellow Texans is humbling.

Got something you want to say?
