For my regular readers, you have noticed that UrbanGrounds has been difficult to access over the last two weeks (the site wouldn’t fully load). My hits dropped from 800+/day to around 50 because the pages weren’t loading.

I was way too busy with work and with life to sit down and troubleshoot the problem until tonight.

Anyhow, I’ve updated my WordPress installation, and troubleshot some of the php that I think was causing the problem.

It looks like it’s loading properly now. I’ll keep an eye on it over the next couple of days to make sure all is well.

UPDATE: Sigh. No. It looks like I’m still having problems loading pages. I’ll look into it more tonight.

UPDATE II: I tried deactivating some of my WordPress custom plugins, and it looks like the Comment Quicktags 1.0 Plugin (written by Owen Winkler) might be the culprit.

So, for now, you’ll have to hardcode your comment formating.

One Response to “Site Problems Fixed”

At the moment, it is working better than it has in a long time. I think Kevin @ Wizbang had similar problems once. Maybe, he has a quick and easy solution.

Got something you want to say?
