Texas (2) beats Ohio State (4)

Critics of the 6′6″ junior QB from the University of Texas claimed that he was all legs and no arm; stop Vince Young from running the ball, and make him beat you with the pass.
Last night, before an amazing crowd of 105,565 in OSU’s famed Horseshoe stadium, Vince Young prooved that he could run (76 yards) despite three NFL-ready linebackers who relentlessly pursued Young around the field. But Vince also prooved that he’s a more than a capable passer too — throwing for 270 yards and 2 TDs, including the game-winning 24 yard pass to Limas Sweed with under 3 minutes to play in the fourth quarter; a TD pass that gave the Longhorns a 1 pt lead over the Buckeyes.
In fact, Young’s 270 yards passing were almost twice as good as OSU’s two-headed QB of Zwick/Smith, who combined for a pathetic 144 yards passing. Yeah. Pathetic. Tedd Ginn Jr. had only 3 catches for a mere 7 yards. He was their lightening-bolt player, right? The guy we weren’t supposed to be able to match up against nor stop? Watching the OSU athletes on the field last night, they should have lined up linebacker A.J. Hawk at WR.

Vince young is the best quareterback. No doubt about it!!!!!!!!!
