To those of us who live here in Travis County, TX, we have known for a long time that Ronnie Earle is an unabashed partisan hack.
However, the Liberal blogosphere is already trying to spin Ronnie Earle as a non-partisan do-gooder. Here’s some of the spin you’re likely to hear over the next several weeks and months:
EARLE HAS PROSECUTED FOUR TIMES AS MANY DEMOCRATS AS REPUBLICANS — well, that’s because for most of Ronnie Brown’s 27 year career, the Democrats have been the majority party here in Texas. All this statement reflects is that Democrats broke the law at a rate at least 4 times greater than Republicans.
EARLE AIDES WENT ON TO RUN FOR OFFICE AS REPUBLICANS — maybe they were so repulsed by Ronnie’s partisan hackery, that they felt compelled to join the other side?
When we call Ronnie a partisan hack, we are not claiming that every case or prosecution has been politically motivated. What we are claiming, is that he has a history of abusing his office to attack those who oppose him.

So let’s get this straight…
Prosecuting “four times as many” Dems as Reps only proves Dems are more corrupt, and that people Earle has worked with were Reps only proves that he “disgusted” them into running as Reps?
Good lord, how much “kool aid” must one swallow to come up with, much believe, this kind of stuff.
Let me guess, Ken Starr was a great American, and the Whitewater investigation was not a partisan withhunt. No need to answer.
