A Letter to Mayor Jack Ford of Toledo, Ohio

Over the weekend some white racists wanted to march in Toledo to protest black gang violence. They didn’t get to march because there was too much black gang violence.

Bill White, who is a national spokesman for the white racist group, says that they want to attempt the march again. However, the black mayor of Toledo wants to deny them their First Amendment rights. Again.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The mayor of Toledo, Ohio, says he’s worried a white supremacy group whose plan to walk through a neighborhood last weekend touched off a riot, will come back.

Mayor Jack Ford said today that he will ask city lawyers if there is a way to prevent that based on the violence that erupted.

Dear Mayor Ford — Let’s get something straight here: the white racists, as abhorent as they are to most of us, didn’t start those riots; they are not the culpable party in last weeks burning/looting/rioting. The morally decayed citizens thugs of your city started the riot because they didn’t agree with someone else’s ideas.

If the white racists want to peacefully assemble (remember, again, that they are not the ones who incited nor started any violence…the gangs you and your city have nurtured were more than capable and willing to do that on their own) in your city again, you MUST allow it.

Your job is to protect them and guarantee their rights to express their views without the threat of violence. If they decide to legally and peacefully assemble in your city again, you should be better prepared this time. Call out the National Gaurd in advance if you have to. Give your officers orders to shoot to kill the first gangster that throws a rock at them or attempts to torch another building. You cannot let criminals continue to run your city, Mayor.

If you attempt to deny this group their first amendment rights to free speech because you can’t control the criminials in your city, then you should resign and hand the reigns over to someone who can. If you block their right to assemble, then you will set a dangerous precedent — you will send a message to black gangsters all over America that if you don’t like what somone has to say, all you have to do to shut them up is burn, loot, and riot.
