Question: Did President Bush cause the military to go to war on the wings of lies?
Answer: At this point only a complete idiot would honestly answer Yes to that question. Which makes the answer a resounding NO; President Bush did not lie about Iraq’s possesion of or ability to manufacture WMDs. He did not lie about Saddam’s ties to and support of various terrorist organizations (to include al-Qaeda).

Jude Nagurney Camwell at The American Street wrote that “the Bush administration caused the military to go to war on the wings of lies…”
It’s becoming more-and-more apparent that the biggest lie is the endless parroting of “Bush Lied”.
Bryan Preston of JunkyardBlog has written a column for TechCentralStation.com titled Did Bush Lie? Ask Google. Read it. It’s a good starting point in the death of the “Bush Lied” meme:
Google is not just a search engine; it’s also something of a wayback machine. It can take us back to the last time prior to 2003 that the United States waged a campaign against Saddam Hussein.
If you go to Google and run a search using “Clinton Iraq 1998,” you will find at the time of this writing 3,010,000 hits. Time stands still for no net surfer, so your mileage may vary slightly. But you won’t need all those three million hits anyway. You can just click on the very first one, which will take you to a CNN story dated December 16, 1998 about President Clinton warning Iraq that its failure to comply with UN weapons inspections left him no choice but to attack. And attack he did, launching Operation Desert Fox, which destroyed Iraq’s intelligence headquarters and a few other points of concern. President Clinton’s reasons for the operation:
“Saddam (Hussein) must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons,” Clinton said.
And:
“Earlier today I ordered America’s armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces,” Clinton said.
“Their mission is to attack Iraq’s nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors,” said Clinton.

When you’re done digging through those 3-million+ sites, head over and read Michelle Malkin’s roundup of stories, starting with THE END OF THE “BUSH LIED” LIE.
If you still think Bush lied about WMDs, Saddam and his ties to terrorism, or any other facet of the War on Terror, read Glenn Reynold’s roundup at Instapundit.
If you’ve read any of these debunkings of the “Bush Lied” meme, and still insist on parroting the “Bush Lied” meme, then you are an idiot who is beyond reasoning with or redemption. Hell, I’m surprised you’re intelligent enough to figure out how to turn on your computer, fire up a browser, and type a legitimate URL into the address box.

Everybody who does not think exactly like me is a complete fucking idiot, I should win a Nobel Prize!
