From Michelle Malkin:

Anti-war zealot Cindy Sheehan will receive $11,000 in student fees to speak at the State University College at Oneonta.

FOX News military analyst and Iraq war veteran Lt. Col. Scott Rutter, who will counter Sheehan in a separate presentation, will receive $600.

Cindy, if you want people to believe that this is all about “a mother grieving over her lost son”, you should try harder not to look like you’re enjoying yourself so much. And you should definitely try to make it look less like a money-grabbing opportunity. The only thing more deplorable than diminishing your son’s sacrifice is trying to cash in on his death.

MORE: Greg at Rhymes with Right adds this:

…maybe it [the disparity in their speaker's fee] has a lot to do with the relative availability of such speakers. Distinguished veterans who support the war are pretty common – traitorous hags who will dishonor their dead children are much harder to come by.

Heh.

I personally have nothing against Ms. Sheehan, but what I do not understand is why she did not bring up her issues with George when he first met her. She had the chance to let him know how she felt, but never said anything. She waited for a year after her son died before going public. Shame on her.

[...] Unlike here and here, where Cindy cashed in on her son’s death and lined her own pockets, this time Cindy Sheehan is donating the proceeds to a non-profit “charity“. [...]
