On October 25th, I had a head-on collision with a deer while riding my motorcycle. The deer is dead, I broke my wrist (which is healing nicely), and my bike has been in the shop getting fixed for the last 7 weeks.
But today I got my bike back, and it was a perfectly sunny 60 degree day to ride her home. Just in time for my vacation, which starts tomorrow (after tomorrow, I don’t go back to work until Jan 3rd).
Good times.
