Happy New Year

And Happy Anniversay, too

In addition to it being New Year’s Eve tonight, it’s also our fourth wedding anniversary.

And, as we do almost every New Year’s Eve (with the exception of the one four years ago when we were wed at the foot of a giant waterfall deep in the rainforest on the side of an active volcano in Costa Rica), we’ll spend the evening over at the Liddell’s home — a night of close friends, lots of wine, beer (Greg said he has Sierra Nevada on tap in the keg-o-rator), and spirits, grilled meats, cheese trays, and assorted other trays of food. We’ll probably watch some college football, and then head out to the back yard to the fire pit over looking the greenbelt (after a near 80 degree day, it’s supposed to dip down to the 50′s tonight…burrrr).

I hope that each of you has a very happy— and very safe — New Year’s Eve.
