Ransomed German Hostage Plans Return to Iraq

While Germany helps fund al Qaeda

Susanne Osthoff, a 43-year-old archaeologist from Germany was captured and held hostage in Iraq for over a month. But Osthoff wasn’t afraid:

Speaking to Doha-based satellite channel Al-Jazeera, Susanne Osthoff said her captors told her not to be afraid as her kidnapping was “politically motivated.”

“Do not be afraid. We do not harm women or children and you are a Muslim,” she quoted them as saying.

“I was so happy to know that I had not fallen into the hands of criminals,” she said…

Despite not being in any danger from her captors (you know, because Muslim terrorists would never hurt or kill women, children, or other Muslims), Germany still apparently paid a ransom to her Abu Musab al-Zarqawi terrorist captors.

Osthoff admits that she believes kidnapping is a legitimate act committed by her captors. And now, to add insult to injury, Osthoff is planning on going back to Iraq.

So, let me get this straight:

• A German citizen is taken hostage by Muslim terrorists in Iraq
• Germany pays a ransom for her release (and rumors persist that Germany might have also “swapped” hostages—releasing a suspected Muslim terrorist)
• Released German hostage praises those who captured her
• German ex-hostage plans on returning to Iraq

When did Germany become France?

The worst part? By paying a ransom for a (willing) hostage, Germany is contributing to the deaths of innocent American Soldiers and Iraqi citizens.

Dear Susan: Your terrorist captors didn’t behead you because you are a woman or a Muslim — they didn’t behead you because you are on their side; you are one of them.
