Saddam and Torture

Sen. John McCain (RINO-Arizona) is not the only person minimizing what actual torture consists of.

Apparently Saddam Hussein is getting his talking points from the Left, too, and is trying to redefine what terrorism is. (no, literally — no hyperbole this time — Ramsey Clark, former US Attorney General under Lyndon B. Johnson, is one of Saddam Hussein’s lawyers. You may also remember him as Slobodan Miloslevic’s lawyer).

Maybe our soldiers are torturing al Qaeda terrorists — I mean if Saddam thinks this is terrorism…

Saddam also complained that he had no fresh clothes and had been deprived of shower and exercise facilities. “This is terrorism,” he said.

….maybe it is. After all, who better to know what terrorism really is?

Evan Maloney at Brain Terminal thinks that Saddam is the latest victim of American terrorism, too:

In a world where the humiliations of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay are considered torture, it only makes sense that dirty clothes constitute terrorism.
