Senate votes 58-42 to confirm

Despite the theatrics of Massachusetts’ two Senators and the blustering threats and demented whining of the Democrat’s liberal-base (otherwise known as the Kosites), Judge Samuel Alito is now a Supreme Court Justice.

Conservatives — who do represent the mainstream values of the United States — are reassured that the SCOTUS will be continue to be led by Justices who are in favor of a strict Constitutional interpretation, rather than the Liberal desire of using the Court to legislate.

I hope not too many Kosites jump off their balconies or flee to Canada (ok, I hope they all flee to Canada) after today’s confirmation. If they don’t, they’ll probably be pleasantly surprised to wake up tomorrow and find that it’s still 2006 — that the clocks won’t have rolled back to July 1, 1964.

For me, the biggest head-scratcher during the entire Alito confirmation process was how the lunatic left believes that Judge Justice Alito…a Conservative, Christian man with an impeccable credentials and reputation was so radically outside of the mainstream in terms of values. When in fact, he’s the very definition of mainstream values in this country.

I just found it bewildering that the same people who stood on a mountain to support and sing the praises of a murderous thug like Tookie Williams could muster so much hate for a great man like Justice Alito. I can’t fathom how you can let a man of such low moral terpitude as Sen. Kennedy question a man as upstanding at Justice Alito on morals and ethics.

To believe that Justice Alito is outside the mainstream of American morals and values is to illustrate how long it’s been since you’ve been anywhere near or associated with mainstream Americans. You ‘coasters should venture inland once and a while and meet your neighbors in “fly over country”.

As expected the Kosites are freaking out (again). There are already plans for eating alive (literally, I think) the four “Not-so-renegade-now,-are-you?” Democratic Senators who voted in favor of confirming Justice Alito. Oh, and in case they saved room, I’d like to offer up Committee Chairman Arlen Specter for desert.

Man, that’s a preposterous analogy- did someone nominate Tookie Williams to the Supreme Court?

Anyway no one ‘hates’ Samuel Alito- we simply think his ideology is bad for our country. It demeans political debate to suggest that opposition is ‘hatred’.

No…just a Nobel Peace Prize. Which makes sense. Since he killed four innocent people and started the most notorious and violent gang in our country’s history.

Got something you want to say?
