Quote of the Day

From The Truth Laid Bear:

Kerry has become the Paris Hilton to Al Gore’s Nicole Ritchie on the stage of American politics: creatures whose fame has become self-sustaining; and who remain in the public eye not because of any achievement or acumen, but who are simply famous for being famous.

I’m not sure what that makes Uncle Teddy in this analogy — other than a secretary-murdering drunk whose notoriety and fame are more attributable to being the brother of John F and Bobby and their unfulfilled promise of greatness than it is to anything he’s ever accomplished irrespective of the family name.
