Unfortunately for Mr. Allen, he didn’t write any childrens books while he was in prison. Maybe then he could have had Susan and Tim come visit him. Maybe he could have had Sir. Anthony Hopkins play him in his made-for-television life story. Maybe Danny Glover could have met with Gov. Schwarzenegger to plead for clemency.
Americans tend to vote with their wallets, and nobody is feeling the effects of that more than Hollywood. Overall, the box office was down 8 percent from last year, the worst since 1985.
Can you imagine if the Mayor of a predominately white city — like, oh, lets say — Austin were to proclaim that Austin would be a “Vanilla” city?
