StephanieMy oldest sister who lives in Louisiana (and whom I don’t get to see nearly often enough) just sent me this picture of her oldest daughter —my niece — who is getting married.

I still think of her as my little niece. I didn’t even know she was old enough to date yet. But sometime when I wasn’t looking, she grew up; she’s had her drivers license for quite some time now my sister reminds me and apparently she’s been in college for a few years, too.

My, but how the time flies.

She’s a beautiful bride, Robbie. I wish her a long and happy marriage.

In 2005 I married off two daughters. I know exactly how you feel.

I can see why you’re proud Robbie. My oldest niece was married last summer. At the reception, they had a video show from the time the bride and groom were babies to present. It was precious.

Got something you want to say?
