Penraker has a must read rant against the insanity that has overcome Yale University and it’s pro-Taliban admittance policy:

No, it is clear: We have a generation of severely brain damaged students who can only mutter their version of “four legs good, two legs bad”: It really goes no deeper than that, despite the fruity, high-stylin’ language.

We now have the first generation of college students who have learned NOT to think; they don’t even allow certain thoughts in their heads.

Welcome to the class of ‘06, the first generation educated to become drones

The venerable Glenn Reynolds adds: “Even though she’d be a legacy, I don’t think I’ll encourage my daughter to apply to Yale.”

Any child of mine will be strongly encouraged to join the US Military right out of High School as a means to prepare for and pay for college. Any child of mine will also be strongly discouraged from applying to Yale. Although, growing up in a Pro-military family would probably be all the discouragment from applying to Yale that any student would need.
