I worked with John in Iraq, and was unable to make his funeral for obvious reasons. I just found this website, and wanted to let you know that the pictures are awesome, and I wanted to thank you all for the proper send off to a good man!

John's wife is Malia, and I am her Aunt. I was at John's funeral on Thursday. I want to thank all of the Patriot Guard Riders from the bottom of my heart on behalf of the whole family. I went around and shook hands with as many as I could after the graveside service and thank you for coming. I know I missed some of you. I just want you to all know having you there was such a blessing. All the beautiful flages and those who came despite of the cold weather to honor John and comfort the family.

What a beautiful site when we came out of the church and again at the cemetry. Seeing all the flags was a reminder that John died protecting his family, friends, and all Americans.

He was our hero and will ge missed very much.

I was there with ya'll. My buddy Johnny and I were holding the large American flag front and center at the chapel entrance. It was an honor to stand tall with such a great group of men, women, and children in paying respects to an American hero and his family. God bless Gunny Fry and his family.

Feel free to take their picture any time we are available to come. I got a great picture of them from behind. My youngest is a recruit in the Young Marines, so he was not able to wear his uniform yet (he graduates April 8th) I want them to know their freedom comes at a cost.

SC99P,

Thanks for posting these. I was unable to ride this mission which I'm thinking may have been our largest yet for the State of Texas. Thanks for serving with the PGR (and also w/Uncle Sugar)!

They are cute kids. They stood next to me at the church as the family arrived. One of your kids asked me how to salute, and I told them they could also hold their hands over their hearts too.

I was going to take a picture of them standing there in formation, each holding a little American flag, with their hands over their hearts, but I won't take a child's photo without first getting permission from their parents.
