Apparently Yale administrators don’t see the irony in forbidding the US Military on their campus because of the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in regards to homosexuals, but going abovce and beyond to accomdate the Taliban, who also have a somewhat more stern policy in terms of how they deal with homosexuals (not to mention the Taliban’s treatment of women).

This young PFC (but already with a combat patch on his right shoulder) told me that he felt reassured seeing us standing our post outside the church and then again at the cemetery. He said that if his “number was called”, it made him feel better knowing that we’d be there for him and his family, too.
