It’s not very often that I’m left speechless, but these images have rendered me nearly so by my anger and disgust:

US Flag in distress at Montebello High School Idiots at Montebellow HS

Much more at Michelle Malkin:

Whittier area students from Pioneer, California and Whittier high schools walked out of classes to protest the proposed federal immigration bill March 27, 2006. The protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High. (Leo Jarzomb/Staff photo)

This is absolutely disgraceful. Where the hell are the adults? The teachers and principals, school security, ANYBODY who knows better and should have stopped this?

You want me to understand your plight and your parents’ and grandparents’ illegal status in my country, you little fucktards? Well, this is probably one of the surest ways to sway the tide against you and your dreams of reconquista.

This isn’t Mexico. Parts of it might have been at one time, but not now, and not ever fucking again? If you want to hoist your country’s flag above my country’s Flag, then wade back across the Rio Grande and do it on the South side of the river. ¿Comprende, vato?

***
Me and a few of my brothers would like to see you try to come and hoist your flag above these Flags. Not only do I know you wouldn’t be abel to, but I’ll bet you don’t even have the huevos to try.

  2. Vile and Disgusting

I am all for legal AMERICAN immigration – and reform that encourages CITIZENSHIP of AMERICA.  Foreign heritage is certainly woven into the fabric of AMERICA.   But once someone becomes an AMERICAN, their former allegiances become their h…

  3. I think they should march that flag right on up the Capitol steps. Maybe then our lawmakers will listen to the people they represent. Sadly, I don’t think even that would make a difference to our supposed representatives.

  4. by flying American flags upside-down under the Mexican flag, they’re showing a loyalty to Mexico that overrides their loyalty to the US.

Actually flying the flag upside-down is a distress signal. This is not necessarily a sign of disrespect.

On the other hand, I think it’s stupid for them to fly the Mexican flag above the US flag- they’re here in this country and that’s not the way it’s done. (Luckily none of every did anything stupid in high school.)

  5. yeah, I know it’s a sign of distress…though I doubt those moron students know that — if they did, then it would be quite the ironic statement (because the country really is in distress over the illegal alien situation).

The Flag flown in distress is an extreme signal for the US military to come in and save the day. If that’s the case, then I’m all in favor of a platoon of Marines coming over from Camp Pendleton, “un-distressing” the situation, and returning our Colors to their proper position post-haste.

  6. Very disgraceful. I guess they think that they have authority for being illegals. What surprised me is that so far, I have not seen any counter demonstrations. Also, living in Texas, the majority of people in el paso are hispanic. Many people that I know of that live here are not very pleased with the illegal immigrants coming across the border. You can easily tell an illegal immigrant from one who came legally. Many of those who are illegals are those who want everyone in the US to speak spanish.

  7. You can easily tell an illegal immigrant from one who came legally.
    Do tell.

Many of those who are illegals are those who want everyone in the US to speak spanish.

What does that mean? By the third generation 100% of immigrants use English as their first language. They will assimilate just as German-Americans and Italian-Americans did before them.

  8. You’re from El Paso, Chris?

I lived there from the time I was born ’till I was 12 years old. Both my grandparents are buried there, and I still have lots of relatives living there.

In elementary, I went to school down in Ysleta — I remember being the only Gringo in many of my classes.

  9. Preston, by talking about those who want you to speak spanish, I guess you would have to experience it in person. They still think the area that they are in is still part of Mexico.

  10. I guess the immigrants have picked up some manners by the time they get to New York. Here they know who they can speak Spanish to by sight and I’m a few hues too light to have ever had it happen to me.

[...] It’s at this point that I don’t think there could be any more….but…they keep on coming… • Donkey Stomp: Students Protest Illegal Immigration Bill • Cake or Death: Disturbing the peace isn’t a right. It’s a crime. And I’m glad to see LA mayor Villarigosa at least paying lip service to that idea. And even if he doesn’t act to quell these rioters (and they are very close to taking what could be a legitimate protest and turning it into violence and destruction) I’m sure that Baca and Bratton will. Villarigosa’s stance and final actions with regards to these kids dancing in the streets protests, could make or break his legacy. • gringoman.com: The ignorant Mexicans, inflamed by La Raza (the racists who call themselves “anti-racists”) do not understand or do not care that flying their flag over the American flag on U.S. soil is actually a declaration of war. • nemov.net: The picture above is not going to help the illegal immigrants cause and it also appears that some (I’m not sure how many) of these Mexicans believe California and Texas were stolen from them. • The Nose On Your Face: “Remember Montebello!” or The Top 9 Reasons That Students At California’s Montebello High School Walked Out Of Class And Put The American Flag Upside Down And Beneath The Mexican Flag (Besides To Protest The Proposed Federal Immigration Bill) • UrbanGrounds: Ungrateful and Disrespectful • La Shawn Barber posts our ownRobbie’s comment: [...]

  12. well you know what I say—if you don’t like here–LEAVE! Sorry, I truly believe in freedom of speech etc…. But to be so disrepectful is just uncalled for.

  13. Isn’t reconquista the same as Zionism?

  14. Am I the only one who smelled a rat after all those power speeches …
“We’re gonna fight terrorism over there so we don’t have to fight it here …blahhhh ba – blah, blah, blahhhh…” and the day after 9-11 , turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to the border concerns and left the borders WIDE OPEN ! NNNowww (after all of this time)the, “Overhauling immigration laws is not going to be easy” speech !Do we really need to OVERHAUL the immigration laws ? Why can’t the ones in place be ENFORCED ? We have no power to enforce them ? Michael Savage has the perfect solution . The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 is still in place , isn’t it ? It provides a fine of $10g $ per illegal for businesses that imported or hired illegal aliens . Use the money for deportation of illegals and stowaways and kick them out of our prisons and jails and send them back to their native land to haunt their own homeland. 2billion $$$ a year is spent on incarcerated illegals . Remove ALL of the incentive for illegals to stay here . That means , no welfare, no daycare, no housing , they can’t use our hospitols , attend our schools . Don’t you think $10g per head could buy a $250. plane ticket and help Keep the airlines in business , pay back some of the welfare , food stamps and give back some of what is needed to better our own poor ? Charity begins at home . Is that act not being enforced because we have lost power ? Mexico has something we want … oil . To offset the expenses that the U.S. incurs from the invasion and get energy costs low for Americans, the president could demand a barrel of oil from Mexico for each of the illegals that come through the Mexican border . Mexico’s oil reserves are estimated at 15.7 billion barrels . The American people are owed many billions of dollars in reparations from Mexico for feeding , clothing , healthcare , schooling and punitive damages for crimes against the people .
” Mexicans do jobs that Americans won’t do “… is the greediest lie that the FILTHY rich ever told . Americans have always worked hard …we didn’t become a wealthy nation because of the Mexican beaners ! For our president to spew such nonsense to us is equivolent to listening to him call us ” LAZY GOOD FOR NOTHINGS ” and UNDESERVING . Just because the language is dressed up , are we supposed to think that it does not mean the same thing ? While our own families and friends are sent to fight and defend the very wealth , health and freedoms that our presidents own family has counted on by the blood sweat and tears of our own … the borders remained WIIIIDE OPEN . While Mexican illegals are allowed to come and rape the system we cultivated . We are warned not to make them mad ? ? ? WHY ??? Are we now powerless ? We can’t stop other nations from burning our flag and pictures and dummies in the streets . We’re being told now ON OUR HOME LAND to pander to the beginnings of the very same thing here . This looks really dangerous for us . Does this mean we no longer have a country ? Have we been COMPLETELY sold out ? We have no power ? When I was a kid , we got kicked out of school for unexcused absence … these kids will probably be rewarded . I think it won’t be long before Bush tells us we no longer have a border … we have disappeared into the New World Order . That’s why the borders were never closed . And whatever breaks out now was certainly planned and intended because if it were not , our ELECTED OFFICIALS (that we trusted to uphold our values) would have stopped it .

  15. I am disgusted with all these illegal immigrants who come to the Unitd States taking our jobs, health care, money.
We are all immigrants in one way or another. When my grandparents came to this country, they came legally. They learned english and became productive members of the community& society. These fuc*in$ mexicans think they are above our laws, that due process is not for them. They think they can get special treatment. F- them. Go back to your country A$$holes. You wnat to come here, you do it legally and you learn our damn language, which is English and here is another tid bit of info. don’t be in a gang or bring over your gang banging buddies either. You have been bleding our system for years and me as a tax payer is tired of paying for you.
How nice it must be. You get cheaper loans from the state and govenment than I do. Cheaper health care, dental and vision care than I do. You get special state and federal aid that I cannot apply for and you are the minority? F-you!
If we try to go to Mexico and say we want to be a Mexican citizen, we would be tossed in jail(no cable t.v, or 3 meals a day either with air conditioning).
We have no rights in Mexico and Mexicans who come here illegally should not have any rights as well. That means, no right to protest a$$holes! Because that is a U.S. Citizen right. You come here to make our money and send it back home to your family until one of you have a child here, now the child is born in the U.S., so it is a citizen of the U.S. and now it is ok to send over your whole fuc$in% family!! Bu$$ $hi*!

If our government caves into this pressure then fellow American’s we have lost. We have lost our fight for freedom, and civil liberties.
I encourage all of you who read this to send a letter or e-mail your state representives (R) and (D) and voice your opinions and concerns.
Our fore fathers are rolling in their gaves and so is each and every single soldier who has died for this country for the persuit of life, liberty and happiness so we can be here today to say what is on our minds.

I never dreamd of the day that we would have big government with power over the people. We don’t need news laws, just enforce the laws you have.
