I agree with you that morons on both sides need to learn to accept free speech. This tactic is almost exactly the same as the right-wing thugs who destroyed Sheehan’s soldiers’ memorial. Unacceptable behavior in both cases.

Oh, give us a break! It was not a soldier’s memorial but more political theater by Sheehan, ANSWER, Code Pink whack jobs. They put it up without any regard to the feelings of the dead or their families. One father took his son’s cross down and the nuts put it back up. If I had family die in Iraq and found a cross put up in distinct contradiction to his/her feelings, I wd destroy it, too. But, unlike the guy in the truck, I would kick Sheehan’s ass before I left.

Again, moonbatitis compels you to project your problems on others. Maybe, the army can help you out in that you might become more sensitive and not advocate for the use of dead soldiers for political purposes, especially when it is contrary to their own and families’ beliefs. More likely than not, you would be found psychological unfit for the military. However, don’t let that stop you from seeking some form of help for your problem(s). Make an appt. with a shrink. They are developing new medications every day. There’s got to be something to help someone like you.

Again, one of the signs and symptoms of Bush Derangement Syndrome, the clinical name of moonbatitis, which you clearly suffer from, is to interject your own political agenda into things. In other words, you only see what you want to see. But, yes, I don’t think St. Sheehan has the right to use other peoples dead sons for her crusade, which appears less driven by grief and more driven by narcissism. You both suffer from delusions. The cult of George Bush, six years in office and all we have is fiscal irresponsibilty and rampant cronyism and lets not forget Iraq which had nothing to do with 9/11 is costing about 2.5 billion a day and killing our men at a rate of about 40 a month with no end in sight. There is ample evidence now that ties Saddam and his terrorist regime to the al Qaeda terror regime (in terms of financial support, providing resources to train al Qaeda cells, and hosting those same terror cells).

The Right likes to talk so much about “right and wrong” and “morality”. Well, the display of the crosses was wrong. It was offensive and immoral, and it should not have been approved by the school in the first place.

One can argue about whether what the students was correct, but you’re grasping at straws calling the removal of crosses “destruction of property”; exactly what property has been “destroyed”? What monetary value can be placed on the property? How hard would it be to replace it?

After years and years of right wing nuts blocking abortion clinics and even committing murder, it is pretty telling that this is the best right wing nuts and extremists like you can come up with in terms of offenses on the left.

If you read the post about the destruction of the crosses, you will find the cost of the exhibit. Not much, but people are convicted of felonies for less. We all have to put up with free speech..much of what we deplore, but hey what’s good for the goose is good for the gander..I may be what you call a right wing nut, but you are a left wing nut.
