I’m closing the post on The Faces of Death Row Groupies to new comments.
The comment total is up to 179, and it’s time to give all of you Pro and Anti folks a new open forum to continue your debate, bashing, and finger-pointing.
Just to get you all started — the jist of the original post is my disdain for Death Row Inmate Groupies. I can’t even begin to imagine the kind of low-self esteem or sense of self-worth it takes to willingly seek out relationships and validation from the monsters living on death row.

Sounds like their are a lot of jealous people here. Pameeeeeeeeee is a two face hag that is getting what she deserves. You crack me up wanting everyone to believe what a saint she is. You just haven’t been lucky enough to meet the Real Spameeeeeeee.

I have talked to alot of pro’s, and alot of anti’s from these sites, msot are good people who simply don’t share the same opinions, yet, respect the views of others, and can debate the issues in a civil manner, then people like you come along and give both sides a bad reputation, it’s like being in a nursery school. Your not here to debate or discuss the issues of the death penalty and the inmates, your here simply to hide behind computers and start trouble with others to fulfill your need to be popular. Shut the computer off, go outside, do something creative, you may make a few friends in the process.
I have indeed met the real Pam. She is one of the most pleasant people I have ever met and a BALL of fun. Now, small children are usually a great judge of character, right? Many many children she met while visiting Memphis (gotta go back to our fav sites again, GIRL! You feelin’ me? Emmy?) went straight to her and loved her the entire time she was here.
She really is a wonderful person if you can get over the fact that she just changed her mind.

I don’t have to know some one personally to know by their actions they are psychologically unhealthy. Normal women do not seek penpals and relationships from murderers on deathrow.

All this guy did was murder and rape women. And women kept writing him in prison, marrying him, hooking up with him. All and all he brutally murdered and rapped at least 5 women. He brutally rape countless other women in front of their small children. And women still seek him out “for friendship.†It’s nuts.

ya see.. now that can be accepted as an opinion… no names thrown around, no one personally attacked, and can be discussed and debated without hostility..
has anyone ever considered maybe explaining why their views are what they are? maybe give the other side more of an understanding of your side? they may not agree with your side, but ya never know.
Let me be more explicit: Named or unnamed, there is something seriously wrong with women who have, are currently, or plan to seek out murderers for relationships. There is nothing to understand beyond the fact that they are in need for psychological help. Healthy people find these women repulsive.

there are actually alot of people in the U.S. and around the world who agree with why Mark Stroman did what he did (myself not being one of them).. Since 9/11 especially, tension is rather high, and alot of people have snapped from it.. I personally was in Manhattan when 9/11 happened, and have my own bitterness towards it all, I don’t agree that all Arabs and Islam’s are bad or terrorists, but I can somewhat see how some would be in that mindset. It was a common mindset to be in for a long time. Imagine how some felt who actually lost people during 9/11? trust me, Mark’s anger was nothing compared to most, he just took action on it, and it was the wrong action to take, he’s paying for it, and he knows and accepts it as well.
Mark is far from someone I personally would have anything to do with, I can simply understand what went through his mind, since it went through alot of people’s minds.. anyone who says they didn’t feel any sort of hate or have any violent thoughts due to 9/11 is simply full of crap.

Ben, from what I know pam had given that site over to someone she no longers speaks to. in fact the person she handed it to is actually in jail himself right now on a dwi charge. i think his name is nick or dominick or something like that. she showed them to me a while back. i dont think pam is the one who can add to or remove anything on those sites. you should find out all the details on someone before you cast your judgment.

second of all.. people can and do change views, whats in the past is in the past, it can’t be changed, you can only move on from it. It’s a concept you probably wouldn’t understand, your simply not capable of trying to understand others.. thats your own downfall.
and again, when did I ever condone those things? i’m very much a pro and always have been, if you would get your ehad out of your ass, you would have seen me post that already more than once. you and Ben read what you want to read, draw your own conlcusions without all the facts, live in the past instead of in today, and think your justified for it, news flash for ya, your not justified for it, it’s merely a ploy to create more drama, and point your own fustrations and bitterness at someone rather than facing up to it yourself.. that is simple psychology.

Myself and Mike know pam many many years, several others who have even posted right in this very blog know pam for some time now, none of us agree’d with her when she was writing to Pursley, or to Stroman, but we took the time to listen, and hear her side of it all, and try to understand why from her point of view at the time, which is the proper thing for anyone to do. We still didn’t agree with her writing to them, but it was her choice, and we understood the reasons behind it, which she never had to explain, even to us, she’s not obligated to do so.
all people like you do is spread more hate, it’s the same as being prejudice like the KKK and other groups. and people wonder what’s wrong with this country and why some do commit murder.. maybe you should be part of the solution and not part of the problem like you are.
as far as I’m concerned, your way of thinking is no differant than those who land themselves on death row.. it’s very simlular to most on death row, you single someone out, then attack, then find any excuse you can to justify what you do in spite of the actual facts. Just like an inmate trying to get off, you only use part of a story to try to get off.

She made web sites, filled discussion sites and the airwaves with comments about them. Now were these people just ‘inmates’, they were cold blooded killers who ruined the lives of families, including children.

Lets be clear here, groupies DELIBERATELY, seek out killers. Often, as in Pam’s case, more than once. They then tell the world in tribute sites and on sick discussion boards such as PTO, how happy their pet killer has made them. So how have they achieved their happiness? Through the murder of an innocent. Without that murder, the groupie would not have that happiness because they would not have their ‘boyfriend’ on the row. They profit from the pain of others, its disgusting. I have read, very clear warnings to Pam from MVS on pro dp where she was told her behaviour would cause pain to the families and to other MVS in general when they see the worship sites. She chose to ignore their advice and carry on. It is not even like she stumbled into being a groupie by mistake. She had the whole pain issue explained to her in detail, then chose to ignore it anyway.
If, you are an MVS, who doesn’t mind this kind of behaviour, you are obviously in the minority. That is your right, but don’t assume others are not hurt!
