For the last several months their has been a conserted effort to shut down conservative blogs with Denial of Service (DOS) attacks. Almost all of these hacks are orginating from the Middle East.
The latest onslaught of DOS attacks are coming from Saudi Arabia.
I’m not surprised that Islamofascists are trying to silence conservative blogs — but ALa at Blonde Sacacity has more thoughts about Islamofascits and Liberal blogs:
Does it bother those of you on the left that NOT ONE left-wing blog has been targeted by Islamofacist terrorists? Doesn’t that make you a little uncomfortable –that they feel OK with all that you post?
…’Cause that would keep me awake at night for some serious introspection.
No shit.

are recovering from a weekend denial-of-service attack that they claim was launched from computers somewhere in Saudi Arabia. The blogger at Urban Grounds has some pithy commentary on what’s being calledInternet Jihad. Really? Other curious discoveries in the blogosphere today…Daily Kos is hinting at a lobbyist-inspired sex ring in D.C.? MSNBC has some emerging scuttlebutt on the same issue. The Boston Globe’s piece about

Wow that’s quite a jump!
You take the DOS attacks from unknown parties for unknown reasons as a justification of your entire worldview?
That’s a little self-congratulatory on the part of Ms. Blonde Sacacity in my opinion.
The logical gaps are too numerous to bother to get into.
This may be the funniest example of right-wing blogger idiocy I’ve seen in a long time. “If you haven’t pissed off people enough to make them attack you, you should question your worth.”
Do neither of you think it’s telling that there have been zero DOS attacks on Liberal web sites and blogs? Do you think it merely coincidence?
Liberal bloggers don’t believe that they are on the same side as the terrorists (nor do I, for the most part and with exceptions), but the terrorists sure do believe that they are on the same side.
Do neither of you think it’s telling that there have been zero DOS attacks on Liberal web sites and blogs? Do you think it merely coincidence?
Do you really believe this?
First of all, who said there were no attacks on liberal web sites?
Who said there were no attacks on non-political web sites?
As I mentioned before you have no idea about who is doing this or of their motivations so it is ridiculous to take pride in their animosity.
Even accepting all of your premises about the DOS attack it does not follow that the course of action that makes our enemies the angriest is the wise course. We could have bombed the shit out of Moscow and Beijing during the cold war: they would have hated that but it doesn’t mean it would have increased our ability to win that conflict.
Well, my longer post on the logical fallacies in this post disappeared.
So I’ll just post this:

The classic example:
Adolf Hitler was a vegetarian. Vegetarianism must be evil.
Today’s example:
Terrorists hate conservative blogs therefore conservative blogs must be right.
