Walt Gaya
Michael Yon has the great story of Walt Gaya — who went from immigrant, to Soldier, to American citizen, to a baker:
Their specialty is red velvet cake, and it’s proving to be the most popular item with customers. If you’re in the area, make a point to stop by and try it out, and meet a new American who’s paid his admission in full, up-front.
It’s well worth the few minutes it takes to read it.

I still have reservations about letting non-citizens serve in our military–but it’s good to know this guy played by the rules.
