Most progressives never felt like the Democratic leadership has ever ridden this issue. Unfortunately, ethics along with political redistricting is an issue in which elected Democrats go along with the Republicans to ensure that the real beneficiaries are the politicians. I don’t know that anyone has dropped the ‘culture of corruption’ theme- but anyone who is guilty should go.
