NY State Comptroller Alan Hevesi told college grads that President Bush should “be shot between the eyes“.

Do I even need to mention what party Alan Hevesi belongs to?

Bush Derangement Syndrom (BDS) strikes again—enough so that a politician felt comfortable enough to glibbly suggest the President of the United States should be shot in the face.

Of course, hours later, Mr. Hevesi apologized for his remarks. I’m not the President, but as a citizen of this country, your apology is not accepted, Mr. Hevesi. Because you meant it. You probably smiled a little on the inside when you said it, as you visualized the President actually being shot in the face.

I think Mr. Hevesi should be gang raped in a Riker’s Island prison cell for his comments.

What? Oh, I’m sorry — did I say that out loud? I’m sorry. My apologies to Mr. Hevesi and his family. How “incredibly moronic” of me.

Bad idea by the comptroller. Only the VP gets to shoot people in the face and get away with it . . .

Touché

candidate put forward by the Democrats, then we need to work hard to ensure they don’t have a shot at winning. H/T Michelle Malkin MORE AT: Sister Toldjah, Strata-Sphere, It Shines For All, Plains Feeder, Political Pit Bull, NJ Blog, Darleen’s Place,Urban Grounds

To be clear, though, what he said was wildly wrong-headed, and I hope he is forced to resign. I’m pretty darned partisan myself, but even I know that threatening the President (or anyone else, for that matter) is way out of bounds.

Got something you want to say?
