Last week, Muslim terrorists in Iraq kindapped, tortured, and then beheaded two US Soldiers. They later boobie-trapped the bodies in an effort to maim or kill more US Soldiers.

Today, Muslim terrorists have claim to have killed four Russian diplomats who have been held hostage for the last three weeks. In case we doubt their claim, they’ve also released videotape footage of their beheadings.

For the Moral Equivalency-Challenged Left:

  • Beheading a diplomat while he is still alive, videotaping your inhumanity, and then releasing the tapes to the media IS torture:

This is not torture

  • Making fun of a few blind-folded terrorists’ small dicks (before returning them to their cells in time for evening prayers and a hot meal) is NOT torture:

Instead they would have focused on the desperation those in the jihadist movement must be experiencing to have to sink to such depths of depravity and brutality in order to draw attention to their cause, which is experiencing major setbacks every day.”

How many people of every race, creed and nationality are going to have their heads sawed off by these madmen before the NY Times stops their treasonous publications??

Russian Hostages are Beheaded

For those who feel if the United States just backed out of this war and everything would just be ‘back to normal’ again (whatever back to normal means), you might want to take note of this. These are not Americans and the jihadists didn’t even claim …

How many people of every race, creed and nationality are going to have their heads sawed off by these madmen before the NY Times stops their treasonous publications??

Please provide a citation before casually tossing accusations of treason.

The same kind of accusations that are leveled at Democrats for proposing a withdrawal of troops from Iraq even as military leadership does the same.

Robbie, you’re really kicking the ass of that strawman. There is not a person in this country that doubts that the actions of terrorists are horrific. But for this to somehow give us license to not live up to our own ideals is both a moral and strategic failure.

But it’s only you leftards who never finish the sentence without screaming it’s Bush fault and that are own soldiers are no better than these bastards.

Hey, Preston — I didn’t say that humilating enemy combatants was a good thing for a professional Soldier to engage in. I just said that it’s not what the Left calls it: torture.

I don’t doubt that most people — even those on the Left — recognize beheading a person as torture. But the Left doesn’t seem to know that what a few US Soldiers have wrongly done to a few enemy combatants is NOT torture.

The Left and the MSM — including Democrat leaders — have called US Soldier actions “torture”. They have compared our US Soldiers to real terrorists. They have called our Soldiers the “greatest threat to World Peace”.

And you want to point your finger and call “moral failure”?

By the way, Robbie. Why didn’t you show the photographs of the Iraqi detainees bleeding from dog bites provoked by American guards?

Once again (wearily), no one is suggesting an equivilence between allowing guard dogs to attack prisoners and the beheadings of innocents and no one is accusing Americans of a beheading. Yet, the terrorists never claimed to be standing up for democracy and human rights. If we are indeed an exceptional country it behooves us to act in that way.

It is possible- and not contradictory- to both express revulsion against our enemies and demand the highest possible conduct from our own country. Maintaining both of those beliefs, in fact, is essential.

Why the resistance to this concept?

Meets this definition in my mind..of course not yet charged or convicted.

Like I say, you might provide a link to the offending action if you are going to make such harsh accusations.

Preston…I gave you the link I thought you wanted…but anyhow, you are an intelligent guy…you know what I’m talking about with the banking disclosure..

And as for the harsh accusations, you bet they are harsh, and deservedly so. I care about my freedom and my life and expect the government will make that their top priority. When a newspaper decides to compromise my security, I get more than a little bit upset.

As you well know, even the chairs of the 9-11 Commission urged the Times to keep their mouth shut to no avail.

? Anonymous above is me.

And one more thing….how can the left justify their tirade over the Valerie Plame “leak” and not be outraged about this inside leak?

Until you visit Iraq, live with the soldiers for some time, and see what life is trully like outside the “news schemes” and democratic media. You can’t justify that any of our situations are completely “cruel” and/or “wrong-doing”, or.. the terrorists are simply fighting for their “freedom”. Get a first-hand experience, and them talk.

I think that in all that has gone on with these videos of our people being killed we have forgotten that we should be looking after them. What sort of goverment lets its people be tortured and killed in the name of religion? We know who these terrorists are and we know where they are so why do they continue(The Goverment)to let these people walk with freedom to kill again? They have been killed because we cant be seen to be not taking action but is it our fight in the first place? If they want to kill themselfs then let them.Don’t send my brothers and sisters over there to get killed too.

the second picture of with the woman in it is cruel an unusual punishment and that is wrong. its all so unconstitutional.

Got something you want to say?
