Scheduled for execution on June 27 in Texas

UPDATE — He’s dead. And the final words ever spoken by Resendiz: I deserve what I’m getting.
Angel Resendiz may be the worst serial killer in the history of North America. Hopefully, tomorrow will be his last day on earth.

Michelle Malkin has an extensive column up about Resendiz, who is an illegal immigrant (yeah, they’re not all “hard working, good people who want nothing more than a better life”. Some of them are serial killers. Many of them are memebers of the most brutal gang this nation has ever seen — MS-13.)

From the Texas Department of Criminal Justice:

Florida Department of Corrections #73584 on a 20 year sentence for Burglary, vehicle theft, and aggravated assault (on an hispanic male with a knife), paroled 8/27/1985; FCI #35285-079 on 18 month sentence for Immigration Illegal Re-entry and False Representation to be a Citizen, discharged to detainer in 1987; FCI on 30 month sentence for False Statement to USINS and Use of Alias with Intent to Induce a Passport, discharged to detainer in 1991 to New Mexico State Prison; New Mexico State Prison #41648 on 18 month sentence for Residential Burglary, paroled 4/3/1993

Of course the anti-death penalty supporters can find cause to rally around this animal, and are fighting to save his life:

An Arizona psychiatrist Tuesday described railway killer Angel Maturino Resendiz as a violently psychotic man whose diseased brain sent him on a cross-country killing spree

So he has a diseased brain that causes him to go on violent killing sprees? Seems like death would be the best cure for this particular “brain disease”.

Hats off to the young Texas Ranger who talked him into coming back into this country and surrendering.

What are the chances his lawyers will appeal on the basis of the Supreme Court decision to appeal on the grounds that lethal injection is inhumane? I vote to lay his diseased brain to rest once and for all, but then I guess I’m just not a humanitarian when it comes to serial killers.

I believe the USSC decision said defendants can argue lethal injection is cruel based on civil rights grounds. If that argument was not brought up in the lower courts, it would be considered waived.

Good riddance, you pos.

As usual, the antis are disingenuous. They try to argue that he was insane because he thought he wasn’t going to die. Yet, the guy made arrangements to leave his body to science and then changed it at the last minute for it to be released to his sister. Doesn’t sound like a man who thinks he’s immortal or is insane. And to no surprise to anyone, he had a wife, Nancy Beall, of Cleveland.

When is death row going to stop being a marriage bureau?

Got something you want to say?
