According to this article, Firefox usage has surpassed 15% usage in the United States.

Looking at my user logs, I see that 21% of the readers of UrbanGrounds use the Firefox browser. Which means that my readers are at least 6% smarter than the rest of the United States.

The only reasons I can think of as to why anybody would still be using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) are:

  1. They are required to use IE at their office.
  2. They’ve never used Firefox before. Because once you’ve used Firefox, you would never willingly go back to using IE.

NOTE: UrbanGrounds is designed and tested to be rendered and viewed in Firefox. I don’t ever use IE, so I don’t pay particular attention to how we display in that particular browser.

I took it further than just using a different browser than IE. Im so sick of Windows XP, that I have gone to Knoppix. That removes any chance of getting a virus since Knoppix is not on your hardrive. Its so much better to use than Windows XP.
