Robert Novak has been given the clear to reveal what he knew and how he knew it before he wrote his infamous column “outing” Valerie Plame.

Jay Tea at Wizbang: “Now, I’m no expert on all the minutiae of the Plame case. But I think this sums it up fairly well.”

Yep. It does, Jay Tea. (make sure you go read Jay Tea’s summary of “what happened”).

Tom Maguire at Just One Minute:

And broadly - if Fitzgerald has freed Novak to speak, doesn’t that strongly support the notion (as noted in Times and Wapo coverage) that this investigation is over, over, over? No Fitzmas, no mas.

Just because the investigation is — for all sake-and-purposes — over, doesn’t mean the Left won’t still try to find a way to indict Karl Rove or Vice President Dick Cheney from the carcass of this dead horse.

Got something you want to say?
