Says Bill might harbor latent homosexuality

Pretty funny really if you watch the entire video. But the money quote is this:

I think that sort of rampant promiscuity does show some level of latent homosexuality.

Do I think it’s true, or that Ann even remotely believes it to be true? No. And for the same reason that Ace doesn’t believe it’s true either:

It’s “outrageous” only in the sense that it’s almost certainly not true and just very, very silly. A gay guy would not have gone for a Monica Lewinsky; that’s a straight horndog at work. A gay guy would have gone for more of an Audrey Hepburn kind of look.

Goin’ for the kinda dumb, kinda trashy, kinda dumpy girl with the big cans? Straight guy.

Exactly.

Although, one of Ace’s commenters countered with:

Certainly if he has the imagination to use cigars, he is willing to contemplate homosexuality. Doesn’t mean he actually ever engaged in it, but Ann did not say he did. She merely suggested he has contemplated it.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Except when it’s not…(not that there’s anything wrong with that…)

Blech! This was (almost) the first time I’ve been able to read about Clinton without remembering the infamous cigar… Thanks a LOT!

Ace is onto something there. Unless Lewinsky is/was a closet Cher fanatic and…. naaaah! Clinton was just thinking with his Situation Room.
