The U.N. is a Joke, and Kofi Annan is a Clown

Just a suggestion: If you’re going to accuse Israel of bombing U.N. observers, maybe you should tell them not to hoist their flag (and their camp) right next to the Hezbollah flag. (No, that’s not Photoshop; Yes, that is the U.N. flag flying next to a Hezbollah flag)

Surrounded by his good buddies in Hezbollah, United Nations Secretay Genarl Kofi Annan has the audacity to accuse Israel of “intentionally” targeting U.N. observers on the Lebanon-Israel border.

I don’t suppose the fact that the U.N. is in bed with Hezbollah (while being firmly entrenched in the anti-Israel camp), and that Hezbollah and U.N. observers are sharing foxholes on the border has anything to do with why some U.N. observers were killed while Israel was bombing Hezbollah positions?

But it looks like Annan’s lies are being exposed for what they are: anti-Israel bias. Annan would love nothing more than to see Israel wiped off the map — just think how much easier that would make his job, and then he could get back to the U.N.’s real mission: raping little girls is Darfur, looting relief supplies, and stealing food-for-oil money.

The NY Sun is reporting:

A Canadian U.N. observer, one of four killed at a UNIFIL position near the southern Lebanese town of Khiyam on Tuesday, sent an e-mail to his former commander, a Canadian retired major-general, Lewis MacKenzie, in which he wrote that Hezbollah fighters were “all over” the U.N. position, Mr. MacKenzie said. Hezbollah troops, not the United Nations, were Israel’s target, the deceased observer wrote.

Uh oh. Mr. Annan didn’t mention the fact that his U.N. observers were playing dominoes with terrorists from Hezbollah when they were “being targeted” by Israel.

I was going to suggest that Mr. Annan should step down from his position at the U.N. — but that’s not what’s needed. What is needed is for the United States to withdraw our support (military and monetary) from the U.N. and just let it asphyxiate on its own moral decay.
