On June 24, 1993, Jennifer Ertman, 14, and Elizabeth Pena, 16, were brutally raped, beat, and then strangled to death by a group of gangbangers in Houston.
Of the six men convicted in these horrific crimes, O’Brien will be the first to finally receive the penalty that the people of the State of Texas have demanded.
O’Brien has already had one execution date this year halted; I doubt he’s that lucky again tomorrow.
The parents of the two victims have waited too long for this day:
“It doesn’t make me happy,” Pena’s father, Adolfo, said in a recent interview. “But this is the punishment he was given, and it’s justifiable. … I kind of feel numb in a way, knowing that I’ve been waiting so long for this day to come. … I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”
“Don’t say time makes things better,” Pena’s father said. “It never goes away. It’s never going to go away. The hurt is still the same. I still find myself crying just out of the blue.”
“I hope the son of a bitch rots in hell,” Ertman’s father, Randy, said last week. “He deserves it.”

I have known the Pena’s for years they are like family, they are the strongest people i know and will ever know. I pray for both families, and for justice, that ALL THESE MOTHER FUCKERS WILL DIED AND BURN IN HELL!!! All my love to the Penas.
