Rhett Bomar, the starting QB for the Oklahoma Sooner football team has been dismissed from the team — reportedly for accepting cash for for work he never performed:

The school said in a statement that the players violated NCAA rules by working at a private business and taking “payment over an extended period of time in excess of time actually worked.”

As a Longhorn fan, all I can say is, “Ah…that’s too bad.”

I am so devistated, pissed, heartbroken and worried!!! Stoops is a great coach…but why investigate that shat!?! Bob is a friend of mine but…what the hell!?!  I guess it was a good call tho. I KNOW that OU will still be a great team this year, there might just be a few L’s instead of W’s in some places! Gosh!!! I about cried a few times tonight while reading and watching stories over Bomar! Gosh this freakin sucks!!! I just wish it would’ve been someone else! By the way…I am a true OU fan, my freakin DAD played for OU! I would like some feedback from some people. I am one sad, sad man. Peace, love and chicken grease.
