British police said Thursday they had arrested 21 people in connection with a terror plot against airlines travelling from Britain to the United States which was “intended to be mass murder on an unimaginable scale.”

The Inmates are Running the Asylum

Bouyed by their recent canablization of a fellow Democrat in Conneticut, the new Party Bosses have revealed themselves — the great Oz has pulled back the curtain. And it’s quite clear that the parents are no longer in charge of theDemocratic party.

Lamont Beats Three-Term Incumbent Joe Lieberman

Posted by Robbie Cooper on August 9th, 2006 | Trackback

RealClearPolitics: “And as much as mainstream Democrats may try to downplay this result as a Connecticut issue, the rejection of a three-term Senator who was the party’s VP nominee only six years ago will have repercussions throughout the country and they don’t help the Democratic Party.”

The Art of Fauxtography

Posted by Robbie Cooper on August 8th, 2006 | Trackback

The Gateway Pundit has busted the al Qaeda Times of New York posting such obviously staged “war” photos, that you have to ask yourself if the Times is complicit in this fraud or are they just that professionally inept (my money is on a heavy dose of the former, with a large heaping of the later)?

Annika’s Observations

In the aftermath of the Reuters photo meltdown, wherein photographs taken by a freelancer were doctored for political effect, it might be a good time to note that the most compelling independent evidence of the alleged Haditha atrocities are …. photographs taken by a freelancer.

Remembering PFC Tina M. Priest

One of the things I realized that afternoon is that my emotions are so much closer to the surface since I joined the PGR and started riding on these missions. When I saw the #1 Sister necklace — a gift from her Tina’s twin sister — hanging at the grave, I was brought to tears.

I can’t add much more to this post by LauraW at Ace of SpadesHQ — it so perfectly aligns with my thoughts on Lamont, his campaign, his campaign staff (to include all those blogs that he “knows nothing about”):

The Disconnect Between Those Who Have and Have Not Served

The disconnect between those who serve and those of us who are beneficiaries of their service has always felt great to me

Court Rules that Tom Delay Must Remain on Ballot

Posted by Robbie Cooper on August 3rd, 2006 | Trackback

This is a complete sham, and proves that Dems have zero interest in fair elections or in providing the people of Texas a fair shot at representation via the ballot.

Jane Hamsher “Blackfaces” Senator Lieberman

So, which is it Jane? Do you answer to nobody? Or do you jump when Ned snaps his fingers? (That’s a rhetorical question, Jane, since the now-removed image shows exactly which it is. Jump, little moonbat, jump!) Yeah. You’re nobody’s bitch. Except for Ned’s.

Sadly, in today’s ugly political arena, you’re more likely to get elected attacking your opponent’s military service, rather than standing on your own.

Lisa Minchew: Another Teacher/Student Sex Scandal

Posted by Robbie Cooper on August 2nd, 2006 | Trackback

I can’t find any pictures of Lisa, which leads me to believe that she’s not a hottie like Pamela Rodgers or Debra LaFave…otherwise there would have been a National Enquirer-full of photos

Charles Rangel Will Be Leaving Congress Soon

Posted by Robbie Cooper on August 2nd, 2006 | Trackback

I’ll believe it when I see it. Just like Alec Baldwin and a whole bus-full of his Hollywood buddies promised they would move out of the United States when President Bush won re-election.

Rhett Bomar No Longer a Sooner

Rhett Bomar, the starting QB for the Oklahoma Sooner football team has been dismissed from the team — reportedly for accepting cash for for work he never performed:
The school said in a statement that the players violated NCAA rules by working at a private business and taking “payment over an extended period of [...]
