Right, America's top 300 liberal thinkers including Tony Blankley, Bob Barr, and Christopher Hitchens...

My rule of thumb is that if you have to explain to me who the guy is first I'm not likely to be quite as outraged when he says something stupid. But I prefer keeping my level of outrage to a somewhat civilized level.

A front page blogger at the HP gets a larger readership than Keith Olberman has viewers.

From my experience, that would fall under one of two categories: Preaching to the choir, or Affirmation to those who believe that libs are all crazy.

It's pretty much the same with all blogs. I rarely have any 'A HA!' moments when I'm trawling the blogs.... it's a rare blog that I agree with 100%. As a matter of fact, I don't believe it's happened yet.

I'd hardly call the front page and being a featured blogger on the Huffington Post "trawling the internet".

If you have to trawl the internet to find an example of outrageous behavior it makes the point that it isn't a commonly held opinion.

Trust me, Russell Shaw isn't likely to become President of the United States or owner of Fox News Channel or any other outlet where his opinion actually means a damn.
