Miss England, 19 year-old Hammasa Kohistani — a Muslim woman — claims that “stereotyping” is leading to terror:
“Even moderate Muslims are turning to terrorism to prove themselves. They think they might as well support it because they are stereotyped anyway.”
Read that quote back to yourself one more time. “moderate” Muslims are becoming terrorists because we think they’re terrorists? WTF?
Draw silly cartoons of their prophet, and they’ll cut your head off. Refuse to convert to Islam at gunpoint, and they’ll cut your head off. Call them terrorists, and they’ll cut your head off. And these are the “moderates”?
Miss England also said that we are all confused by the word jihad:
Alarm bells ring at the word jihad, but it just means struggle; it’s about protecting yourself and your community, not about going out there and annihilating people.â€
Miss. Kohistani obviously won her crown based upon her looks and not her brains.
The horrible irony is that Imams and other religious leaders in the Muslim community — acting in a stereotypical manner, no doubt — are calling for a Fatwa against Miss Kohistani for posing in a bathing suit (albeit with a sarong) on a stage in full view of millions of infidels. “Under Islamic law, beauty pageants are not permissable,” said Akbar Ali, Chairman of the Islamic Society of Liverpool in Britain.

Open mouth, insert foot.
I think back 10 years or so when nobody but a few would even know who Miss England is, much less give credibility to anything she might say. But here we are in the enlightened age when everybody has a computer or television with news running 24 hours a day, and everything is news if it makes a sensational story. How times have changed. I’m sure moderate Muslims are cringing. They now have a spokesperson who has deemed them all terrorists and the rest of the world has yet another chance to say, I told you so. Those damn Muslims are all the same.
This is one incredibly naive young woman whose crown must have punctured her brain.
