Muslim team kicked off reality show

Yesterday, the Religion of Perpetual Outrage shot a 65-year old nun in the back 4 times in protest of the Pope ciriticizing their religion for being violent (for 500 bonus points, pick out the irony in that statement).

Sister Leonella was specifically targeted and executed in Somalia by “outraged” Islamists (in the voice of Col. Nathan Jessep, “Is there any other kind?”).

Then, during last night’s season premier of The Amazing Race (Season 10: The Token Season), CBS exacted revenge for the nun killing by springing an unannounced “surprise” elimination on the first Muslim team ever to appear on TAR, Bilal and Sa’eed.

OK…I’m not 100% certain that the elimination of Bilal and Sa-eed was in anyway related to the killing of Sister Leonella. But I like to think of it as a little karmic justice if nothing else. Besides, now the TAR becomes somewhat more watchable without having to hear Allah Hu Akbar (”Allah is the Greatest”), Al Hamdilallah (”Praise Allah”), Bismillah (”In the name of Allah”), and Insha’allah (”If it’s the will of Allah”) every five seconds.

[...]All this is because Benedict quoted an historical figure who said that the Islamic faith was intolerant and violent. … [...]

I still have no respect for CBS daring to show TAR. Showing a race between races really puts us back about 50 years if you really think about it. This s***t is getting really old. I guess we will find out when the ratings come out, to see if people even care anymore.
