I usually just keep my music collection on shuffle, but I’m wearing out the new Bob Dylan album, Modern Times and American V: A Hundred Highways by Johnny Cash.

Modern Times has a very strong Texas blues sound to it…I’m certain that’s the influence of legendary blues guitarist Denny Freeman from Austin, who was in Dylan’s band for this recording (Denny was a member of the Cobras with Stevie Ray Vaughan back in the day).
