We just don't take any car in the driveway with the same disciption as what our paperwork says. we check the license plate and the vin number before we even put the car on the back of our truck. being a repo man is that dangerous my husband works the south west side of houston he has only been shot at once in 9 years of doing this. most stories repo men tell are not true and they are just trying to sound like a big shot. my husband is a repo man and used to drive the truck that repoed that car also he worked for that repo man. just to clear one thing up that car was up for repossession. What they didn't mention in the report was the police have confirmed the wrecker driver WAS stealing the Mercury Sable, pimped out for an upcoming car show (valued over $30K).
