Florida’s most notorious serial killer since Ted Bundy has been executed:
He was executed by injection Wednesday evening for the grisly murders of five college students during a 1990 spree that terrorized the college town of Gainesville, Florida.
Rolling, 52, was pronounced dead at 6:13 p.m., said Robby Cunningham, a spokesman for the Florida Department of Corrections.
Instead of last words, Rolling sang a hymn instead (None greater than thee, Lord, according to one witness).
Here in Texas, Gregory Lynn Summers’ execution has been delayed by a few hours tonight as his attorneys are trying to challengE the constitutionality of the lethal injection method (claiming it’s cruel). Which is contrasted by this statement from Diana Hoyt, Christa Hoyt’s stepmother (one of Rolling’s victims):
“I’m a nurse, and I’ve seen my patients die,” she said. “And they died a much more horrific death than what this man suffered. He relaxed and went to sleep.”
“I didn’t appreciate his song,” Hoyt said. “I didn’t understand how he could sit there, after the horrendous crimes he committed, and talk about the angels watching over him.”
May his soul burn forever in Hell.

Diana Hoyt writes…

Maybe you should take that up with Jesus and God… It sounds weird to me too… Even serial killers are forgiven if they repent? So what are you going to do about it? You’ll probably be praying too on your death bed… I’m a Buddhist… I expect to pay for all my sins in the next life…
I’m agnostic. I expect to be dirt when I die, and that will be payment enough for all the sins of this life.
The sadistic murderer of 8 people is executed? FWANCE WEEPS!
