Update: After a several hour delay, Gregory Summers is dead. Justice has been served. May his soul burn in hell forever.

On October 25, 2006 Gregory Lynn Summers will be executed by the State of Texas for hiring *Andrew Cantu to murder his adoptive parents (Mandell Eugene and Helen Summers) and his uncle (Bill Mack Summers).

Summers may not have committed the murders himself, but he is as deserving of the death penalty as Andrew Cantu. Summers paid someone (actually he promised to pay — according to Cantu, he was never received the promised payment) to kill his parents and an uncle.

Of course, that’s not too vile of a crime for the Dutch anti-death penalty/deathrow groupies to forigive. In fact, he married one of them (Joanne) last January.

The National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (NCADP) always tries to paint a picture of innocense for all condemened inmates:

Texas The state of Texas is scheduled to execute Gregory Lynn Summers on Oct. 25. Summers was convicted of murder for his role in allegedly conspiring to kill three family members for money. Summers allegedly hired Andrew Cantu to kill his adoptive mother, father, and uncle for financial purposes. Cantu entered the home of the Summers family, where he fatally stabbed Mandell Eugene Summers, Helen Summers, and Billy Mack Summers.

Alleged? Acutually, it was alleged only before the trial. At the trial it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt and the crimes were no longer alleged.

* Cantu was executed on 2/16/1999 for stabbing to death all three of the victims and then burning down the house.
